SPEAKER • Michael Latawiec,
Michael grew up in inhumane conditions in a Romanian
orphanage until his adoption by American parents. When he
turned 18, guardianship was given to his parents as the only
option to help Michael. He soon started to thrive and with the
help of St. Thomas Law students, was able to have his
guardianship removed. He is now working for Triple Shift
Entertainment promoting Adaptive Bowling. Michael will
share his courageous story that has brought light to Alternatives to Guardianship.
SPEAKER • Marit Peterson,
